Dear Wagnerians,
Upon the news of the decision taken by the city of Munich to rename the streets honoring Richard Wagner and Richard Strauss, our organization has taken the initiative to write to the Lord Mayor of the city and express our disappointment at this decision.
At Richard Wagner Canada, we firmly believe that art should be beyond worldly matters. Political decisions, while respectful, are temporary and temporal. Art is beyond time.
